Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari says the current global economic structure isn’t enough to help underdeveloped countries.
At the Group of 77 and China ministerial conference in New York, he said that millions in at least 100 nations face hunger and poverty.
“The globe, especially developing countries, faced multiple problems. The worst recession in a century is reversing a decade of development in developing countries. The international economic system can’t help emerging countries. Over 100 countries risked bankruptcy. As a result, one billion people were hungry and poor.” he emphasized.
He stated the worst recession of the century is affecting developing countries by reversing the last decade’s development.
Bilawal noted that climate change-caused tragedies hurt developing countries, like Pakistan’s recent flood calamity.
Bilawal warned India yesterday that Osama Bin Laden is dead, but Narendra Modi is still alive and prime minister.
The Indian government follows his assassin’s teachings, not Gandhi’s. He said Hitler influenced India’s governance.
The foreign minister condemned India’s role in fanning terrorism in Pakistan, saying terrorists get help from India. He stated foreigners are seeking to destabilize Balochistan.
Bilawal said there was proof of Indian participation in the Lahore incident. He requested Pakistan’s terrorists be punished.
He said foreigners fund terrorism in Pakistan. He emphasized stopping terrorist groups from gaining training and funding from outside.
Pakistan is proud of its achievements in the war against terrorism, as the government has taken real steps through the National Action Plan for counterterrorism.
