Justin Bieber has apologized for a racist joke that was revealed in a recently posted online video.
A British tabloid published the clip, which was recorded five years ago and shows a young Bieber telling a joke that uses the N-word.
Bieber took to Twitter to apologize, saying, “As a kid, I didn’t understand the power of certain words and how they can hurt.”
Bieber’s been getting a lot of bad press recently. He was accused last month of attempted robbery following media reports that he had tried to snatch a young woman’s mobile telephone.
