Anwar Maqsood, a celebrated figure in Pakistani media, is renowned as a scriptwriter, television presenter, satirist, and humorist. Recently, he captured public attention by composing verses directly on the streets of Zaman Park, an area famously associated with Imran Khan, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Zaman Park is not just a residential area but also the birthplace of a movement that has played a pivotal role in revealing the intricate and longstanding systemic issues embedded within Pakistan’s 74-year history.
In his verses, Maqsood eloquently includes references to Imran Khan, intertwining the political leader’s influence and the cultural context of the area in his poetic expression.
