Awami National Party’s (ANP) former leader, Azam Khan Hoti passed away in Mardan today (Wednesday).
According to family sources he was suffering from throat cancer.
Azam Khan Hoti remained federal minister and was elected as a Senator twice in 1993 and in 2012.
In 2013 Hoti was expelled by the ANP Organizing Committee for breaching party’s code of conduct.
Hoti moved to UK with his 4th wife.
Hoti was father of former Chief Minister KPK Ameer Haider Hoti and brother of Begum Naseem Wali Khan.
