Pakistani gunship helicopters on Monday targeted suspected hideout and killed at least 33 militants.
According to the media “In two different airstrikes in North Waziristan today, nine terrorist hideouts were destroyed killing a total of 33 terrorists,” a military statement said.
The airstrikes were carried out in Datta Khel and Gharlamai districts of North Waziristan.
According to law enforcement agencies the militants were mostly Uzbeks and members of the Haqqani network.
