After two years of rumours about their separation, Agha Ali confirmed his divorce during a podcast with Ahmed Ali Butt, where clips of the interview quickly went viral on social media.
In the interview, Ahmed Ali Butt called Agha Ali a “happily divorced man.” Agha laughed and replied, “You just knocked someone down from a height.”
Agha described the decision to divorce as challenging but expressed relief that no children were involved in facing difficulties from their separation.
He shared his personal experience of losing his father at age five, highlighting his understanding of the challenges of growing up without parental support.
Agha emphasized that relationships formed from mutual consent need effort and prayer to sustain. However, he acknowledged that parting ways might be the best option if a relationship is not progressing positively.
He also stated that despite their separation, he and his ex-partner would continue to respect each other. He noted this as crucial, pointing out that many couples struggle with maintaining mutual respect post-breakup.
Agha Ali and Hina Altaf married in May 2020, but rumours of their separation started in 2022, which Agha had previously denied.
In August this year, morning show host Madihah Naqvi mentioned their divorce but later retracted her statement, clarifying that she had misspoken.
