Chinese tech manufacturer Abee unveiled the AI Station, a compact workstation powered by AMD’s Ryzen AI Max 395, boasting 126 TOPS for AI tasks, at the AMD Industry Solution National Conference.
The Abee AI Station is powered by AMD’s Ryzen AI Max 395 APU, featuring 16 Zen 5 cores and 32 threads, with a boost speed of up to 5.1 GHz. It includes a Radeon 8060S GPU, which has 40 RDNA 3.5 compute units operating at 2.9 GHz. The system supports up to 96 GB of shared memory and is equipped with 128 GB of soldered LPDDR5X-8000 RAM. A 400W Flex ATX power supply, along with liquid cooling and dual 92mm fans, maintains thermal stability within a compact 21x22x15 cm chassis. The Abee AI Station also includes a 1TB DOGE SSD, dual Ethernet ports (2.5GbE and 10GbE), and is compatible with a 27-inch 2K AOC Q27P3U display.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is projected to drive a 160 percent increase in data center demand over the next five years.

Targeting AI developers and edge-computing professionals, the AI Station delivers 126 TOPS, with its NPU providing over 50 TOPS for local inference tasks, such as LLM training, per GameGPU. The liquid cooling system, with an internal radiator and pump, supports sustained workloads without throttling. Accessories like the V700 958FI webcam and VT60 wireless keyboard enhance its business appeal, positioning it against traditional workstations, as reported by Liliputing.
Abee has teamed up with GMKtec and Colourful to utilize AMD’s Strix Halo technology for compact AI PCs, in contrast to Asus and HP, which are concentrating on larger workstations. The AI Station is priced between $1,850 and $2,000, according to TechRadar, making it a competitor to GMKtec’s EVO-X2. However, global availability of these products remains uncertain. The AI Station offers an AI performance that is 2.75 times faster than Nvidia’s RTX 5090.
