Aaj TV, Dawn News cameramen die in Quetta blast

Cameramen of Aaj TV and Dawn News Shehzad Khan and Mehmood Khan killed in the in a suicide explosion at Civil Hospital in Quetta.

The Aaj TV cameraman, Shehzad Khan died on the spot whereas Mehmood Khan of Dawn News sustained critical injuries and was rushed to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The blast killed at least 63 people and injured scores of others after mourners including journalists and lawyers gathered at a hospital in Quetta following the fatal shooting of Balochistan Bar Association President Bilal Anwar Kasi.

Video footage showed bodies strewn on the ground, some still smoking, among pools of blood and shattered glass as shocked survivors cried and comforted one another.
