Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information Senator Pervaiz Rashid said the PML-N government will provide justice to the victims of the Kasur child abuse scandal and give exemplary punishment to the culprits involved in this inhuman act.
In a statement issued Monday, the minister termed the incident highly condemnable and said that no civilized society especially an Islamic society can tolerate such abominable and repulsive incidents.
The minister welcomed the initiative of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif for ordering a judicial inquiry into the matter and expressed confidence that the inquiry would not only unveil the truth but also identify those behind it.
Pervaiz Rashid expressed hope that the people would volunteer in sharing any information or evidences with the authorities so that those responsible could be identified and prosecuted speedily in the court of law.
