According to Durani, a police team arrived at the crime scene shortly after the assault, roped off the area, and began a search operation. The search operation was ongoing while police gathered information about the incident and the attackers.

The deceased person has been identified as Manzoor from the Mirza Akora police station, Constable Amanullah, and van driver Ayaz.

According to the report, rescue 1122 medical teams transported the remains to District Headquarters Hospital Nowshera.
