Unidentified shooters killed three police officers in the Akora Khattak area of the Nowshera district.

According to police and rescue officials, three police officers were killed in the assault, which appears to be a targeted killing.

Nowshera police spokeswoman Durrani while talking to the local news channel “Dawn News,” said that the attackers targeted a police van.

According to Durani, a police team arrived at the crime scene shortly after the assault, roped off the area, and began a search operation. The search operation was ongoing while police gathered information about the incident and the attackers.

The deceased person has been identified as Manzoor from the Mirza Akora police station, Constable Amanullah, and van driver Ayaz.

According to the report, rescue 1122 medical teams transported the remains to District Headquarters Hospital Nowshera.

Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan took note of the occurrence and requested a report from the police chief.

The chief minister stated, “The situation is extremely unfortunate, and the sacrifice of the martyrs will not be in vain.” In addition, he offered prayers for the deceased and condolences to their families.
