At least three security personnel were killed in a remote-controlled bomb blast in South Waziristan earlier today.
According to sources, the roadside bomb went off when a security forces vehicle was passing through Shaktoi area of South Waziristan.
The security forces cordoned off the area soon after the blast. Meanwhile, a search operation is underway for the culprits behind the blast.
Three soldiers were also killed in a roadside blast attributed to unknown attackers, in North Waziristan three days ago.
