Arab Foreign Ministers wrapped up their preparatory meeting for the 25th Arab Regular Summit to be hosted by Kuwait from Tuesday. Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, The Kuwaiti Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, chaired the meeting of the Sultanate’s delegation set to participate in the Kuwait event. Alawi told the media that the meeting discussed many important topics of interest to the Arab Nation, including the Palestine issue, Arab peace initiative support, focus on Arab integration and challenges facing the Arab world.They also focused on Arab solidarity, the situation in Syria and progress on a number of important issues, including the n Libyan file, solidarity among the Arab states in providing political and economic support to it, assistance to preserve its sovereignty and independence, as well as commitment required for the next phase and activation of national reconciliation.
