New applications are only being accepted for the long Hajj package, as spots for the short Hajj package have been filled. The booking window for private Hajj pilgrims remains open until the end of January.
As of January 18, the ministry received 84,620 applications under the regular scheme, with only 1,380 seats remaining. Applicants must submit Rs600,000 covering the first two instalments. Since January 10, designated banks have been processing applications for the remaining 4,500 seats on a first-come, first-served basis.
Moreover, the ministry has contacted private Hajj operators to approve packages exceeding Rs3 million, ensuring a broad range of options for all pilgrims.
