Pakistani filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy’s Facebook status claims that she might be working with famous Hollywood diva Meryl Streep
The documentary filmmaker has chosen to remain tight-lipped about the upcoming project but did share that she will be revealing more next month.
Chinoy became the first Pakistani to win an Academy Award for her documentary Saving Face in 2012 and an Emmy for her documentary Pakistan: Children of the Taliban in 2010. So it’s no wonder that she’s made so many prominent friends.
So, it is no surprise that she’s at the helm of such a special project.
