Islamabad: Airport Security Forces at Benazir International Airport arrested top Pakistani model and actor Ayyan Ali on Saturday allegedly for money laundering.
According to sources, Ayyan was off to Dubai through a private airline. ASF officials checked her luggage on the counter and recovered approximately US $ 500,000 from her.
ASF officials seized the money and handed her over to the custom authorities whereas money laundering case has also been registered against her

Later on she was presented before the local magistrate, she has been sent on a 14-day judicial remand to Adiala jail.
Ayyan was set to board an Emirates airline to Dubai and according to Airport Security Force(ASF) did not declare that she was carrying a large sum of money.
Moreover, the model was shifted to Civil Hospital Rawalpindi for medical test.
A money laundering case has been filed against her.
