Govt may announce 4 day Eid al-Adha Holidays

The federal government may announce four day public holidays for the annual festival of Eid ul Adha from September 22 to September 25.

According to a sources by the Ministry of Interior, the Eid holidays will be from September 22 (Tuesday) to September 25 (Friday).

The government and private sector employees will enjoy five-day long break from work as last Eid holiday is falling on Friday.

Generally government announce three-day leave for Eid Al Adha from the 9th of Dhu Al Hijjah to 11th of Dhu Al Hijjah.

According to astronomical forecasts for 2015, the 9th of Dhu Al Hijjah (Hajj Day) may be Tuesday, September 22. So employees can expect Eid holidays from Tuesday until Fridays.

Many Pakistanis are intending to coupled with the two-day weekend expect 6-days of holidays – from September 22 until the 27th of the month.

With this 6 day period in mind, many residents are expected to take advantage of this short vacation to travel to another country. And, with deals being run by most airlines, this holiday can get a bit more affordable on the pocket.

Many international and local airlines is offering special fares until September 10 for travel between September 3 and the December 10.

Special fares have been listed to many destinations across continents.
