In an intelligence based operation, Security forces foiled a major terror attack which was set to take place on Defence Day.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) officials “The terrorist was arrested during the operation. He confessed his links with RAW, he also confessed having planted IEDs in Quetta on two separate occasions which took numerous innocent lives,”
Further, the suspected militant was arrested with various explosives in his possession, including an improvised explosive device (IED) weighing over 6 kilogrammes, a mortar bomb and nut & bolts.
