Banned cricketer Mohammad Amir hopes that International Cricket Council (ICC) will review his appeal to reduce his sentence in October this year.
However, Amir has ruled out the possibility of playing in the 2015 World Cup.
Speaking at a talk show he said “I don’t see myself playing in the World Cup.”
He further added “It is not realistic, because all these things have to go through a process. I am just grateful to the cricket board for taking up my case. I will be ready whenever I am given the chance to resume training or playing.”
Amir is currently serving a 5-year ban for spot fixing, will be available for national selection from September 2015 under the current terms of his ban.
