An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) today awarded death penalties to two hardened criminals for murdering Salahuddin Haider, former president of the Malir Bar association, and his son Arsalan Haider in 2012.
Mohsin Baloch and Abid Kaloo were awarded death sentences after being proven guilty for the double murders.
On March 24, 2012, Salahuddin and his lawyer son Ali Raza were killed when the two culprits riding a motorcycle opened fire on them near their residence in Ghazi Town. The victims were going to their office in Malir Court in a vehicle.
The case against the culprits was registered under sections 302/34 and 7 of the Anti- Terrorism Act of 1997 on behalf of Salahuddin’s son Syed Kazim Raza.
