Levies forces and political administration officials narrowly averted a huge disaster by defusing improvised explosive devices and rockets that were rigged to blow in a Parachinar market.
Security officials uncovered the terror plot when they arrested a ruthless terrorist during a joint operation early morning yesterday.
During cross questioning, the terrorist revealed that explosives had been planted in Usmania Plaza, located in Kurmi Bazaar of Parachinar.
Officials rushed to the spot and defused three IEDs and rockets. They also rounded up 17 suspects from the area.
