Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader, Dr. Farooq Sattar, confirmed earlier today that MQM chief Altaf Hussian is still under police custody while being hospitalized.
He was arrested by British authorities on Tuesday in money laundering case after months of investigation.
“He is still hospitalized, his medical tests have been conducted and doctors have suggested some more tests. Results are likely to be issued today,” Sattar spoke to media persons here.
He affirmed that the party workers would continue sit-in at Numaish Chowrangi.
“Our peaceful sit-in will go on till our concerns prevail about his health. His illness is a matter of concern for all of us, MQM supporters are worried about their party leader,” the senior MQM leader said.
