Former president Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf has alleged Pakistan Peoples Party co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari for the murder of Benazir Bhutto and Murtaza Bhutto.
In a video message, Musharraf, said he was sending out this message as Zardari had personally called him out by blaming him for Benazir’s murder.
In his message, Musharraf says that a few days ago, the anti-terrorism court hearing the Benazir Bhutto murder case gave its verdict.
“Every Pakistani is concerned that two distinguished police officers got punished but the real terrorists were exonerated,” said Musharraf.
Musharraf said that Asif Zardari was the one who had benefited the most from former prime minister Benazir Bhutto’s assassination.
“Who had Rehman Malik deployed on Benazir Bhutto’s protocol?” he asked.
He further asked who had Khalid Shehenshah murdered. Not only that, Musharraf wondered who had the person who gunned down Khalid Shehenshah assassinated as well.
“Who had a sunroof made on a bombproof car? Who phoned Benazir and told her to come out of the vehicle?” he asked.
Musharraf alleged that Asif Zardari had Benazir murdered at the hands of Baitullah Mehsud and said that the PPP co-chairman enjoyed close relations with Hamid Karzai.
