According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Wednesday, stated that Pakistan armed forces have taken control of 80 percent area of Miranshah.
In a press statement, the ISPR said the ongoing operation ‘Zarb-e-Azab’ in North Waziristan Agency was achieving its set targets.
The command and control system of the terrorists has been dismantled. So far 400 terrorists have been taken out and 130 injured.
In the massive military offensive, 11 landmine-making factories were seized besides more than 23 tons of explosives.
The statement said a majority of foreign militants including Uzbeks have been killed and Qari Gul Bahadur, wherever he may be, will be hunted down.
The ISPR demanded of the Afghanistan government to take action against terrorists who escaped from North Waziristan and are presently in their country.
A two-kilometer long tunnel used by terrorists was also unearthed in Miranshah while a will of Maulana Ghazi, who was killed in Lal Mosque operation, was also found. The Maulan’s will forms an important part of the terrorists’ training curriculum, the ISPR said
