British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson landed in Pakistan on Thursday, kicking off his official two-day visit to the country.
According to details, the British Foreign Secretary was greeted by officials of the Foreign Minister after he arrived in Islamabad. Boris Johnson will meet Prime Minister’s Adviser on Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz.
Sources disclosed that the two diplomats will hold direct talks with each other for a bit before holding a joint press conference. During his stay in Pakistan, Boris Johnson is also expected to meet senior Pakistani politicians. Boris Johnson will also meet Pakistan’s outgoing Chief of Army Staff Gen. Raheel Sharif, according to sources.
Boris Johnson, who has served previously as the Mayor of London, had stated last year that his wife had persistently asked him to take her to Pakistan.
