The Tourism Corporation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (TCKP) has started a bus service from the federal capital to Taxila for tourists desiring to visit historical sites in the city. According to an official of the TCKP, tourists would have to pay an introductory fare of Rs 1050 for the weekly bus service on Saturday and Sunday.
In addition to this, a tourist bus service would soon be launched from Peshawar and Lahore, he said. “The corporation also offers a summer holiday package so that tourists can enjoy enchanting and beautiful sites in the province. The tourists can also enjoy the Kalash festival from May 13 to 14 by using the road and air services offered by the corporation.”
