Karachi: An anti-terrorism court in Karachi has sent 10 suspects arrested during a raid on the Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s ‘Nine-Zero’ headquarters on judicial remand until May 6.
Police presented the 10 suspects at the ATC on Monday. The suspects included Ubaid alias K2, Faizan, Sajjad, Nauman, Haseeb, Imtiaz, Kazim, Nadeem, Ubaidullah, and Asif.
The suspects were picked up from Azizabad during a Rangers-led raid on the MQM’s ‘Nine-Zero’ headquarters in Karachi last month.
The men, who are accused of illegally possessing weapons, were sent on judicial remand until May 6.
Meanwhile, police also presented in the ATC Amir alias ‘Sarphatta’, another suspect arrested during the raid.
Amir is accused of firing on the ‘Sindh Muhabbat Rally’ in 2012 in which five people were killed.
The ATC sent Amir to jail on a 14-day judicial remand.
