Four terrorists linked with a banned militant outfit were killed in a shootout with police in Karachi earlier today.
Senior police officer Rao Anwar Khan said that acting on a tip-off, they launched a search operation at the convergence of the Northern Bypass and the Super High Way.
Police opened retaliatory fire, killing four terrorists.
According to the police, the terrorists were identified as Faisal, Zakir ullah and Muhammad Ismail, were members of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban. Weapons and explosives were also recovered from their possession.
