Sindh High Court (SHC) rejected bail of former Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and former Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon in Rs. 5.77 billion corruption case.
According to details, on Monday two-member SHC bench hearing bail petitions in a case regarding mega corruption scandal worth Rs.5.77 billion rejected bail of Sharjeel Inam Memon, Mansoor Rajput, Salman Mansoor, Gulzar and Masood Hashmi, Altaf Memon, Umar Shahzad and Naveed.
NAB team arrested are among the arrested Mansoor Rajput, Salman Mansoor, Gulzar and Masood Hashmi, Altaf Memon, Umar Shahzad and Naveed. However, following the bail dismissal, NAB officials were waiting outside the court, along with the Rangers, to take the accused into custody of Sharjeel Inam Memon, who is still in the court premises.
