The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday granted bail to former Provincial Minister and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Sharjeel Inam Memon till November 14.
A division bench headed by Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto granted the bail to Sharjeel against a surety bond of Rs 2 million in a case relating to illegal allotment of state land and adjustment of the land.
The court directed the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) not to arrest Sharjeel Memon on his arrival in the country.
The court observed that Sharjeel was given almost the time of one month, however, he had failed to appear before the court and under such circumstances the court granted bail to him till November 14 instead of requested November 29. (APP)
