Former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi has announced to quit Peshawar Zalmi, Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise, as its president and a player.
Boom Boom Afridi took the Twitter end his services for Peshawar Zalmi due to personal reasons. He said after winning the PSL 2017 trophy for Zalmi, he was looking forward to join another team now.

Afridi expressed best wishes for Peshawar Zalmi and said his Peshawar fans were with him wherever he would go.
“Won the trophy with one team, (it’s) time for another. I am announcing my end of service as president and player of Peshawar Zalmi team due to my personal reasons,” he wrote on his social media account.
“My best wishes with Peshawar Zalmi and as far as my Peshawar fans are concerned I know they are with me wherever I go,” he said.
