Roger Federer won the Rotterdam Open on Sunday.
In the finals Roger Federer beat Grigor Dimitrov 6-2 6-2 in the final, two days after becoming the oldest player to top the ATP rankings, aged 36.
Federer only needed to reach the tournament’s semi-final to seal a return to the status as world No 1, a record 14 years after he first did so, but completed a historic week by lifting the trophy.
Tournament director Richard Krajicek presented trophy to Federer.
Federer said: “Hopefully one day I can come back to Rotterdam. I’m not sure how many years I’ll be playing but I’ll enjoy this one.
“Thank you very much for the great, great welcome I got this week.
“I’ll never forget this week – thank you guys.”
