Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader and former Sindh chief minister, Arbab Ghulam Rahim, alleged that there is no democracy in the Sindh province.
While talking to media outside the Sindh Assembly on Friday Rahim said “Sindh needs better political system that can be beneficial for the people”.
The PML-Q leader also endorsed the statement MQM Chief Altaf Hussain that there was no democracy in Sindh.
He also claimed that PPP leaders Khursheed Shah, Rehman Malik and others had requested him to join their party but he refused.
Referring to the poor performance of the provincial government in Thar, Rahim said that the opposition parties would constitute a separate parliamentary committee over Thar crisis.
Similarly, ex-chief minister, Liaquat Ali Jatoi also lashed out at the PPP government and said “Diseases like Hepatitis B and C are common as there are no basic health facilities for the people”
