The Punjab Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) killed four Tehrik-i-Taliban terrorists on Friday night during an exchange of gunfire in Faisalabad.
The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) said that the TTP terrorists were riding motorcycles when they were asked to stop by officials of the CTD, in response to which they opened fire.
While four alleged terrorists were killed by CTD’s retaliatory firing, three of their accomplices managed to escape arrest.
Authorities revealed that weapons, as well as explosives worth 3 kilogrammes, were recovered from the deceased terror suspects.
It is unclear if the CTD is conducting a follow-up search for the fugitive terrorists or whether any of the escapees were captured subsequently.
