Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) laywer Hamid Khan has stepped down in the Panama papers case.
Khan excused to represent PTI in the case after criticism from various quarters within the party.
Khan while talking to local news channel ‘ GEO News’ said “I have apprised Chairman Sahib i can contest a case in the court, but i am unable to indulge in a media war,”
Khan also said that he has informed Imran Khan about his decision. “It was not possible for me to contest the case anymore after media campaign”.

A number of PTI leaders had criticised Hamid Khan over his ‘poor performance in the court’.
The sources said Imran Khan made this decision after the party leaders demanded the same, as they are of the opinion that Hamid Khan shamed the party in the courtroom, though he is an able and fully competent lawyer
