Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) today decided to submit resignations of party’s MNAs to the Speaker: National Assembly.
The decision was taken during a consultative meeting chaired by PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
The resignations will be handed over to NA Speaker by PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi and senior party leader Arif Alvi.
The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) party has 34 of the national assembly’s 342 seats, making it the second-biggest opposition group.
Khan refuses to accept his electoreal defeat and has accused Nawaz Sharif s PML-N party of vote rigging in the 2013 election and has called on him to quit and hold re-elections.
