Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) demanded of the government to immediately arrest former Punjab minister Rana Sanaullah for his alleged role in planning and executing Faisalabad riots.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Saturday, PTI Spokesperson Shireen Mazari said that there are plenty of evidences against Sanaullah for planning Faisalabad riots on Monday in which at least one worker of the PTI was shot dead.
She also accused Rana Sanaullah of his connections with various banned outfits.
Mazari also presented several pictures and some videos to establish a link between the Faisalabad shooter and various rioters who, she said, are part of Sanaullah’s ‘kitchen cabinet.’
She said the plan to sabotage PTI’s peaceful strike in Faisalabad was prepared in Circuit House where, she added, son-in-law of Sanaullah, PML-N member of the National Assembly (MNA) Talal Chaudhry were also present.
She also accused thaf “Footage of PTI worker killing was broadcast on media but the key accused has not yet been arrested,”
