Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has appointed senior lawyer Babar Awan in place of Hamid Khan to represent PTI in Panama Papers case in the Supreme Court.
According to PTI’s Information Secretary Naeemul Haq, the PTI has decided to hire Babar Awan as its lawyer in the case.
However, he said that formal announcement in this regard would be made by PTI Chairman Imran Khan, who will return to Lahore from London tomorrow.

The decision comes after PTI senior leader and eminent lawyer Hamid Khan desired to quit the party’s legal team fighting the Panama Leaks case.
