World Human Rights Day is being observed on Saturday to create awareness to reaffirm our commitment towards common humanity.
On the occasion of Human Rights Day, President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in their separate messages have reiterated the pledge to put an end to all challenges and factors that endanger and jeopardize basic rights of individuals.
President Mamnoon Hussain in his message said the observance of International Human Rights Day reflects deep commitment of Pakistan to promotion and protection of human rights at all levels.

He said the Constitution of Pakistan guarantees freedom to its citizens regardless of their caste, color or creed.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in his message has urged the nation to join hands to fight against discrimination and fanaticism.
