The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has formally lodged a strongly worded protest with the United States over its alleged spying by the National Security Agency (NSA).
In a letter forwarded to US ambassador Richard Olson, the PPP secretary general Raja Pervez Ashraf expressed his party’s concerns over the role of US spy agencies.
The letter stated that the spying of a political party by the National Security Agency (NSA) was against all moral values as well as international laws, adding that it will not be tolerated at any cost.
It also said that all such activities will affect bilateral ties.
