Islamabad: According to the unofficial results for the Senate Elections 2015 Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has the majority party in the upper house by securing 16 seats and Pakistan People’s Party 5.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has postponed the election for four Senate seats from FATA while polling time for 12 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Senate seats has been extended till 8:00 PM.
131 candidates ran for 48 seats as national and provincial assemblies met to elect new senators to replace the retirees..
