The Pakistan Muslim League–Nawaz (PML-N) issued new tickets for the Senate elections following the Supreme Court’s ruling in the Elections Act 2017 case
The supreme court of Pakistan on Wednesday ruled out the Election Act 2017 after which Nawaz Sharif was disqualified as the party head.
The supreme court also nullified all decisions taken by Nawaz Sharif and the President of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N).
Following the SC ruling the ticket issued to PML-N candidates for the to Senate election, were also declared null and void.
PML-N issued new tickets following the the decision to issue new tickets was taken during a PML-N Central Executive Committee .
PML-N chairman Senator Raja Zafarul Haq visited the Election Commission of Pakistan and signed forms of candidates.
