The Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif has reiterated that the government will not accept any extra-constitutional demands.
In his meeting with senior journalists and anchorpersons earlier today, the prime minister said that the government will not accept any extra-constitutional demands, no matter by whom so ever.
He also added, “We were ready to negotiate, we still are”.
PM Nawaz claimed that eleven out of twelve political parties in the parliament, are in favor of him and the government will not be pressurised.
Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) are firm on their demand for the resignation of the prime minister and have said that negotiations with the government cannot advance without it.
