Two Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flights were forced to make emergency landings in the past 12 hours in Lahore and Toronto due to technical faults in the aircrafts.
PIA’s Muscat bound flight PK-220 was forced to make emergency landing in Lahore due to a technical issue shortly after take-off.
National airliner’s flight number PK-782 that was leaving for Karachi from Canada’s city of Toronto made an emergency landing in the Canadian city due to a technical glitch in the aircraft.
Emergency landing incidents of PIA is increasing with the time whereas the falling standards of the national airliner’s engineering staff poses a question mark on the technical standards of the Civil Aviation Authority.
It should be noted that aviation institute is said to be hit with corrupt practices and deteriorating quality of services to its customers.
