Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on Thursday has seized imported expired chocolate from Rawalpindi.
According to PFA officials, during a raid at a warehouse located on Rawalpindi’s College Road PFA authority seized 31,000 packets of imported expired chocolate.
The PFA officials revealed that the chocolates were supplied to super stores and shopping malls.
During the investigation, it was also revealed that the chocolates had expired even before they were imported.
PFA officials have sealed the warehouse and a case was registered against the owners of the warehouse.
