The Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan Gautam Bambawale has said in the federal capital of Islamabad that the National Security Advisors (NAS) of Pakistan and Indian are in constant contact to finalize meeting of foreign secretaries.
Addressing a ceremony organized by Indian High Commission in Islamabad Monday, Gautam Bambwale said he could not give final date for the meeting of foreign secretaries, however, it will take place as soon as the situation becomes favourable.
He went on to say that NSA of India and Pakistan are also in touch regarding investigation into Pathankot airbase attack.
Gautam ruled out Indian interference in the affairs of Pakistan and Afghanistan, saying that both countries are independent and sovereign states.
Indian HC refused to comment on Pakistani High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit statement over Siachen.
He also stressed for promoting bilateral trade between Pakistan and Indian.
