Dozens of children of Pakistan Sweet Home in Islamlabad suffered from food poisoning due to eating substandard meal on Sunday.
The children have been admitted at PIMS hospital for physical examination and treatment.
According to the administration of the Pakistan Sweet Homes, some 50 to 60 children started vomiting soon after having the breakfast at around 6.30 am due to food poisoning and hot weather.
Dr Ayesha, a spokesman of the PIMS Hospital, said “A total of 185 children, aged between 4 to 6, were brought to the hospital. Out of them, 60 were dehydrated. They were administered glucose therapy,” .
“The others children were brought as a pre-emptive measure. They are alright. 60 children have suffered from food poisoning.”
The Pattern-in-Chief of Sweet Homes, Zamurd Khan, told that all children have been shifted to different hospitals of the city.
Sources, however, told that conditions of all the children were now stable
