Director General ISPR, Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa said Operation Zarb-e-Azb was proceeding according to goals and the army would not rest until terrorism was eliminated from Pakistan.
During a media briefing, the DG ISPR said North Waziristan had become a hub of terrorists who were brainwashing people into becoming suicide bombers. So far Pakistan’s armed forces have taken out 477 terrorists including a key militant and destroyed their 88 bases in North Waziristan Agency where the ongoing military offensive ‘Zarb-e-Azb’ completed its one month today since inception. He also said that 26 soldiers embraced martyrdom while 195 others also lost their lives since the launch of military operation on June 15.
