Scientists are on the verge of developing a ‘space ark’ which will carry humans on a one way mission in the search of a new world to save humanity. This is a one way travel which will not guarantee any coming back, but surely will help finding new ways to save mankind.
Many countries like UK, USA, Italy, and Netherlands are working together on a project named Persephone which is aimed at finding any new bio technology that will help in creating a spacecraft which will take humans to any other planet located outside of our solar system.
This spaceship will be able to transform solar light into fuel and be able to use long lasting organic food.
This project is been leaded by Rachel Armstrong who works as a senior architecture & design lecturer at the University of Greenwich
According to the team sociologist,” If earth turns out to be a no-go zone due to nuclear war, climate change, or biological change, then we have to prepare for such situation, we have to try our best to preserve human civilization.”
