The federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said there would be no loadshedding during Sehar and Iftar timings in Ramazan.
While talking to Radio Pakistan, he said despite severe heat there is no unannounced loadshedding in the country.
He said electricity short fall has been reduced to 4,000 (mega) watts.
Minister said the government has closed some plants that produce expensive electricity which may also be operationalized if a need arises.
Khawaja Asif said there are hundreds of feeders in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where zero loadshedding is being observed.
