The Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has stated that, “the National Action Plan (NAP) is being criticized only for point-scoring.”
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad earlier today, the Interior Minister said, “Incidents of terrorism in the country have gone down after launch of operation Zarb-e-Azb and NAP.”
He said those who had not gone through the NAP even, were criticising it, adding that constitutionally law and order in is the responsibility of the provinces.
The minister went on to say, “We are in state of war, and wars cannot be fought only through guns and bullets. Winning psychological war is also important.”
He said Pakistan is winning the war on terror by the efforts of military but losing it on psychological grounds.
He said terrorists are targeting the soft targets like educational institutions because their backbone had been broken.
